“How I Lost My Memory”

**I FORGOT
the weight pushing down. my breath silenced slowly. my chest being crushed. air can't seem to make its way in as he suffocates with himself forced.
**I FORGOT
how, suffocating, I slowly looked up. mirror image looking back at me in horror. mirror image til' this day looks helpless and pitiful.
**I FORGOT
how obedient my body lays. "Don’t Move" and I don't move.. fear moves throughout my body so I have no need to, no strength to.
**I FORGOT
how the fear and obedience still lives in me. that's what makes me "forget". I can't remember. I w o n ' t remember. I forget. I’m still forgetting.still hurting.
**I'M FORGETTING
the betrayal. the cuts, letting out blood; hopeing memories leek out with it. so I don't remember how to get up in the morning. so I can sleep and not need to wake again. so I can forget there are more days ahead where "I don't remember"
**I'M DREAMING
I won't wake up. in my dreams im at peace. in my dream im safe. in my dream im taken care of as I should be in my dreams.... there's nothing to remember. nothing to forget. in my dreams I’m beautiful. in my dream I will now stay, forever. I’m home; in endless sleep. in endless dream. in ended life.
